Overview:

Our client, a leading brand management firm with a portfolio of globally recognized fashion, lifestyle, and sports brands, is looking to hire an HR Associate to join their growing team in their NYC office HQ.


This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join a fast-growing company that owns and operates some of the most well-known brands across retail, fashion, lifestyle, sports, and consumer products. The firm offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with significant exposure across the HR function, making this a great opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, personable, and eager to continue building their career in Human Resources.


In this role, you will support the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR leadership with a wide range of day-to-day HR operations and administrative initiatives. This person will play an important role in keeping the HR function running smoothly while supporting areas such as scheduling, calendaring, internship program coordination, benefits administration, employee relations support, onboarding, HR documentation, and internal communications.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and broader HR management team
  • Manage scheduling, calendaring, meeting coordination, and follow-up for HR leadership
  • Assist with internship program coordination, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, supporting onboarding, and helping organize intern-related programming
  • Support benefits administration, including employee communications, enrollment coordination, documentation, and general benefits-related inquiries
  • Assist with employee relations matters by helping coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, track follow-up items, and support HR leadership as needed
  • Help manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, internal communications, and employee file maintenance
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee data, and documentation while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
  • Partner with HR team members on internal initiatives, employee engagement efforts, policy updates, compliance tracking, and special projects
  • Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact for employees, candidates, interns, and internal stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ Years of experience witihin an HR function with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong interest in growing within Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional approach
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling employee information
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and keeping projects moving
  • Experience within fashion, retail, consumer products, lifestyle brands, or a fast-paced corporate environment is a plus
