This position involves working onsite in our outpatient office, where you will have access to cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment and resources. The facility is equipped with modern treatment spaces designed to optimize patient interaction and promote effective therapy modalities. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapists, administrative staff, and medical professionals, ensuring comprehensive care that fully addresses our patients' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for new patients, focusing on their specific conditions and functional challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and innovative treatment techniques aimed at maximizing patient recovery.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and equipment to deliver effective treatment, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy as part of the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to help enhance recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as needed and communicating any changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist in fall prevention strategies and balance training to boost patient confidence and autonomy in performing daily activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff and interns, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.

You will primarily work with adult and geriatric populations, each with unique mobility challenges ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. The focus will be on building therapeutic relationships that promote trust and encourage patient engagement in their recovery journey. Your expertise and understanding of the specific needs of these groups will directly impact their rehabilitation success and enriching their quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked with outpatient or geriatric populations.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop strong rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an adaptable mindset to meet patient needs effectively.

• A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or in geriatrics are advantageous.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for maintaining documentation and treatment plans.

The Full-Time Physical Therapist position at Mend Force Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
