This position involves working onsite in our outpatient office, where you will have access to cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment and resources. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for new patients, focusing on their specific conditions and functional challenges.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and innovative treatment techniques aimed at maximizing patient recovery.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and equipment to deliver effective treatment, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy as part of the rehabilitation process.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to help enhance recovery outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as needed and communicating any changes to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist in fall prevention strategies and balance training to boost patient confidence and autonomy in performing daily activities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff and interns, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and geriatric populations, each with unique mobility challenges ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. The focus will be on building therapeutic relationships that promote trust and encourage patient engagement in their recovery journey. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
