Job description

Digitizing Specialist III


Heirloom Cloud Corporation is seeking motivated Digitizing Specialists to help preserve priceless family memories and historical media for customers across the United States. This role supports the conversion of aging formats-including VHS tapes, film reels, photo albums, slides, DVDs, and legacy storage media-into secure digital formats for future generations.

Digitizing Specialists play a critical role in delivering exceptional quality, accuracy, and customer trust while working alongside a collaborative operations and customer success team in a fast-growing technology-enabled preservation company.


Responsibilities

  • Train to master advanced media digitization and restoration workflows
  • Receive, inspect, sort, and document inbound customer orders
  • Operate legacy and modern playback equipment to achieve the highest-quality capture possible
  • Capture, organize, and curate digital media within a secure local area network (LAN)
  • Perform quality control checks on digitized content
  • Assist with basic media handling, cleaning, and preparation
  • Coordinate closely with the Customer Success Team regarding order status and special requests
  • Collaborate with Operations Team members to maintain efficient production workflows
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure production environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational innovation


Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, production, technical operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive and goal-oriented on a schedule
  • Comfortable learning and operating computer systems, software, and electronic equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, technology, media, or a related field is a plus
  • Experience with media production, electronics, photography, audio/video equipment, or archival work is a plus
