Known for our iconic double-bubble bottle, we grow, harvest, package, and market fresh pomegranates, pomegranate arils, and a selection of delicious pomegranate-blended juices and teas. With over 9,000 acres in California's Central Valley, POM Wonderful is committed to unleashing the antioxidant power of our handpicked pomegranates.

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for full time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands on professional experience and learn how the department runs.

This position will be based onsite at POM Wonderful located in Del Rey, CA.  This schedule for this internship is Monday- Friday occasionally weekends 40 hours a week.

Compensation: $18.50

Job Description
  • Maintains and improves quality results by completing quality assurance tests; following standards; studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
  • Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions; preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams; evaluating components, materials, and suppliers; resolving design integration issues; developing specifications and safety standards; performing installations.
  • Determines engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests; analyzing and synthesizing data; maintaining control charts; determining root causes; preparing bid specifications.
  • Prepares engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; entering data and generating reports and presentations; performing calculations.
Qualifications
  • Must be Wonderful Scholar enrolled in the College Success program.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Required/Preferred degree in. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously.  
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
