Finance Intern this Fall and gain valuable, hands-on experience in a dynamic and mission-driven organization. This paid, part-time internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our experienced Finance Team and contribute to meaningful projects that support agriculture and rural communities.
What You'll Do:
As a Finance Intern, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of financial operations, including:
- General Accounting: Accounts payable, fixed assets, account reconciliations
- Loan Accounting: Supporting loan-related financial processes
- Financial Reporting: Assisting with quarterly and annual reports
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Participating in planning and analysis
- Internal Controls (ICFR): Supporting compliance and control efforts
- Cross-Departmental Projects: Collaborating with Lending, Credit, Administration, and more

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who:
- Is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Can work 15-20 hours per week in our Raleigh office
- Has knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Possesses strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Thrives both independently and in a team environment
- Is excited about contributing to the future of agricultural finance
- Holds a valid driver's license
