We are seeking a Product Engineer – Engineering Change Management to play a critical role in evaluating and implementing engineering changes across our product portfolio. In this role, you will review product design modifications, assess their impact on manufacturing and existing products, determine change priorities, and help ensure seamless execution across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to drive efficient change management processes while supporting product quality, operational excellence, and new product introductions.

You’ll Make an Impact By:
  • Coordinating the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring smooth transitions from product development to manufacturing production.
  • Evaluating engineering design changes and assessing their impact on products, manufacturing processes, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Partnering with Product Development teams to provide manufacturing and implementation feedback throughout the engineering change process.
  • Managing the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering change activities, including change approval workflows.
  • Driving the timely and cost-effective implementation of engineering changes within the manufacturing environment.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) and project status updates to Product Development Engineering and Quality Management leadership.
  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving engineering change management procedures and processes.
You’ll Win Us Over By Having the Following Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or similar engineering role supporting engineering changes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and engineering change documentation.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis tools.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience manufacturing electrical or electromechanical products.
  • Knowledge of metal stamping processes and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with metrology and inspection techniques used for part validation and quality verification.
  • Experience with engineering change management and at least one year of involvement in new product development initiatives.
  • Experience using Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements and documentation.

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $105,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
