Job description

Position:  Associate Administrator at Carver Elementary
Work Schedule:  Full-time, 205 days/year
Start Date:  July 1, 2026
Pay: Starting at $70,000 DOQ
Benefits:  Health, Vision, Life, Disability, Legal and Dental Insurance; Personal and Sick Time Off per the Non-Unit Contract
Required Qualifications:





  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years experience working with students
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong intercultural competence
  • Ability to exercise skills in judgement and to effectively manage stressful situations
  • Demonstrated potential for instructional leadership and ability to work with data
  • Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with all parents and community contacts

Desired Qualifications:

  • MN Teaching License
  • MN Administrative License (or in process of obtaining licensure)
  • Experience in collaboration with peers
  • Experience or background in elementary curriculum development, implementation and evaluation
  • Experience or background in professional learning

 Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies and systems to improve student discipline
  • Enhance student, parent and community engagement
  • Safeguard the wellbeing of students and the school climate
  • Create and monitor student academic and behavioral interventions
  • Support and augment instructional leadership
  • Lead Targeted Services efforts
  • Other related duties assigned by supervisor
