Job description

Job Title: Computer Support Specialist Employment Type: Contract Work Hours: 40 hrs./week Work site: 100% Onsite Location: One Commerce Plaza, Albany, NY, 12257 Job Duration: 6 Months Closing: 05/22/2026 #CB Minimum Candidate Qualifications: Proof of eligibility to work in NYS. Three (3) years of customer service experience Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Search computer records/databases and interpret them in connection with inquiries Evaluate documentation submitted in connection with inquiries and provide solutions Draft accurate and professional emails in response to inquiries Respond to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Have a keen attention to detail Miscellaneous Information: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. This position is 100% on-site.

Telecommuting is not permitted. The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit. Interviews will be conducted in person or online based on availability.
