This role is ideal for someone who is genuinely interested in crypto markets and enjoys working at the intersection of fundamental research, market structure, token analysis, and investment judgment. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, as the role will span different parts of the investment lifecycle.
About the role:
This internship is targeted at university students across Bachelors, Masters, MBA, or other postgraduate programs in Tech, Business, Sciences, Finance, Economics or a related field. We are looking for candidates with meaningful and current personal experience in crypto, graduating either this year or 2027 at the latest.
The internship start date and duration can be flexibly structured around your Summer 2026 term dates, however we require a full-time commitment anywhere between 8 weeks to 12 weeks. You will get exposure to live deal flow, portfolio management, protocol analysis, investment diligence, and internal discussions across our network. You will be expected to take ownership of real work, form clear views, and communicate your thinking well.This internship offers a potential pathway to full-time employment, with past interns having gone on to secure permanent roles. High-performing interns who demonstrate strong results, cultural fit, and alignment with our team may be offered a full-time role at the end of the program.
Whilst the internship role is remote, any resulting full-time offer will be based in either New York or Singapore.
As such, we will only accept intern candidates with valid work permits in either jurisdiction, graduating either this year or 2027. Please ensure you meet this criteria prior to applying.
Responsibiliites:
You will need to be independent, adaptable and be creative with a solution-oriented mindset. Some examples of your role include:
  • AI workflows - Take ownership of projects that help the desk optimise internal workflows using AI. This could include work across portfolio management, sourcing, deal flow analytics or marketing and branding initiatives.
  • Research - Conduct deep-dive comprehensive research on across crypto verticals, chains, DeFi protocols, and emerging market themes.
  • Due diligence - Support due diligence on investment opportunities including protocol research, technical due diligence, tokenomics analysis, market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis and customer/user reviews.
  • Investment operations - Take ownership of logging trades to account for portfolio activity. This extends to labelling on-chain activity (trades, staking rewards, airdrops, etc.) for accounting purposes and liaising with internal / external parties including trading desks, middle office, finance functions and administrative support.
  • Portfolio management and sourcing - Support portfolio monitoring and help proactively identify new investment opportunities.

Hard Skills Requirements:
  • Business fluent English.
  • High AI acumen to adapt existing workflows.
  • Advanced command of Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Proven track record of personal on-chain activity, especially in the DeFi space.
  • Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting.
  • Familiarity with analysing on-chain transactions using block explorers across multiple chains.
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically about investment decisions and ongoing work with existing portfolio companies.
  • Ability to work well within a team and be self-guided on a day-to-day basis.

Bonus Requirements:
  • A technical background or experience in data science is a plus.
  • Strong network in crypto is a plus.
  • An understanding of venture capital and crypto deal terms is a plus.
