What is an internship in AI automation?

An Internship in AI Automation is a temporary position for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in applying artificial intelligence and automation technologies to real-world problems. Interns typically work on projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, or process automation under the supervision of experienced professionals. These internships help participants develop technical skills, gain industry exposure, and build a foundation for a future career in AI or automation fields.

What kinds of projects and responsibilities can I expect during an AI automation internship?

As an AI Automation intern, you can expect to work on projects involving data collection, preprocessing, and implementing automation scripts using AI tools and frameworks. You'll likely collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to streamline workflows, test machine learning models, and integrate automation solutions into real business processes. Interns often have the chance to contribute to real-world applications, participate in code reviews, and present their findings to the team, making this role both hands-on and collaborative. This experience is valuable for building technical skills and gaining insight into how AI-driven automation transforms business operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an internship in AI automation, and why are they important?

To thrive in an AI Automation internship, you typically need a strong foundation in programming (such as Python), basic understanding of machine learning concepts, and a background in computer science or related fields. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure), and version control systems (like Git) is highly beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and effective teamwork and communication set standout interns apart. These abilities enable interns to contribute meaningfully to automation projects, adapt to evolving technologies, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Job description

Position Overview
At Eulerity, we are building the future of AI-driven marketing automation - and behind every great hire is a great recruiting process. We are looking for a highly organized, tech-curious intern to support our technical recruiting lifecycle. You will learn to identify engineering talent, understand our tech stack, and manage the specialized candidate journey for software engineers.
This is not a passive, administrative internship. You will work directly under our Recruiter to keep our hiring engine running at full speed - coordinating interviews, tracking candidate progress, gathering and synthesizing interviewer feedback, and learning how to identify and source top talent. You will get an unfiltered look at how a high-growth startup builds its team, and you will be a meaningful part of making it happen.
What You Will Do
  • Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
    • Own the Schedule: Coordinate interview logistics across multiple roles and hiring teams, ensuring candidates and interviewers are aligned, prepared, and on time.
  • Manage the Candidate Journey: Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the process, ensuring every touchpoint is timely, professional, and reflects Eulerity's brand.
    • Support the scheduling of technical screenings and pair-programming interviews, ensuring we have the right interviewer pairings for our tech stack.2Feedback Collection & Reporting
    • Help aggregate technical assessment scores and interviewer feedback to ensure we are assessing both soft skills and coding competency consistently.
  • Talent Sourcing (Learning Track)
    • Go beyond LinkedIn. Learn to use GitHub, Stack Overflow, and technical communities to source passive engineering candidates. Develop a basic understanding of our tech stack to better qualify resumes and assess potential.

Who You Are
  • Highly Organized: You thrive when managing multiple moving pieces at once and take pride in keeping things airtight - no dropped balls, no missed follow-ups.
  • A Strong Communicator: You write and speak clearly and professionally, and you are comfortable interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders alike.
  • Proactive by Nature: You do not wait to be told when something needs attention. You spot it, flag it, and handle it.
  • Technically Curious: You don't need to be a coder, but you are interested in software development and willing to learn our tech stack to better understand what makes a strong engineering hire.
  • Genuinely Curious About Talent: You are interested in understanding what makes someone a great hire - and excited to learn the craft of recruiting from the ground up.
  • Commitment: You are ready to show up consistently, whether in-office or remote, and treat this role with the same seriousness as any full-time position.

Why Eulerity?
  • Real Recruiting Experience: You will be embedded in a live, fast-moving hiring operation - not simulating it in a classroom.
  • Direct Mentorship: You will work side-by-side with our Recruiter and gain visibility into how leadership thinks about building teams at a high-growth AI startup.
  • Immediate Impact: The candidates you help move through the process and the feedback you compile will directly shape our engineering team and product roadmap.

Logistics
  • Summer 2026, with potential to extend based on performance.
  • Hybrid out of our NYC office, 3 to 4 days per week in person.
  • $18 to $20 per hour.
  • Lunch credits and unlimited snacks when in-office.
  • Direct mentorship from our recruiting team.
