The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Junior 3D Visualization Artist to join the RS&H Visualization team in the Tampa, FL office.
RS&H is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior 3D Visualization Artist to join our Visualization team in Tampa, Florida.
This position is ideal for an emerging visualization professional who is passionate about creating compelling visual stories through photorealistic imagery and animation. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced visualization artists, designers, engineers, and architects to produce high-quality visual content that helps clients and communities better understand proposed projects.
We are looking for individuals who are creative, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of detailed 3D models, renderings, and animations for architecture, infrastructure, transportation, and urban development projects
  • Support the development of photorealistic visualizations and animated content for project presentations, proposals, public engagement efforts, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with visualization artists, architects, engineers, planners, and project teams to understand project goals and develop effective visual solutions
  • Utilize industry-standard software, including Autodesk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects, to produce high-quality visual content
  • Apply best practices in modeling, material creation, lighting, rendering, composition, and post-production workflows
  • Learn and implement new visualization techniques, technologies, and software advancements
  • Manage assigned tasks and project deliverables while maintaining quality standards and meeting established deadlines
  • Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and documentation to support efficient team workflows
  • Receive and implement feedback from senior team members while actively contributing ideas and creative solutions
  • Assist in maintaining quality, consistency, and visual excellence across all project deliverables

Qualifications:
  • Foundational knowledge of 3D modeling, lighting, materials, rendering, and camera animation principles
  • Basic understanding of architectural, engineering, or construction drawings and project documentation
  • Strong artistic eye for composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize competing deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max and V-Ray (or similar rendering platforms)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and After Effects
  • A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in photorealistic renderings, animations, or other visualization work
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine or other real-time visualization platforms
  • Experience with animation, cinematic sequencing, or interactive visualization workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in 3D Visualization, Digital Media, Architecture, Animation, Game Art, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a 3D visualization artist, including internships or relevant coursework
