You will support transportation operations in term of service, cost,health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policiescompliance. Youwill provide team leadership and direction for the transportationorganization. In addition, you will implement our transportation strategy and effectivelyexecute operations to ensure optimum logisticssolutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. To excel in this role, you will work collaboratively with internaland external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effectivemanagement, timely solutions and execution.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Deliver value by delivering on thestrategy, ensuring optimization across allmodes of transportation,balancing service and cost
  • Be responsible for all our safety, service and cost key performance initiatives
  • Have end-to-end responsibility to serve our customers and work collaboratively withinternal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensureeffective management, timely solutions and execution
  • Develop transport solutions and undertake regular businessreviews with vendors to review performance and support selection and negotiations
  • Ensure the right product at the right quantity gets to right place at the right time(damage free)
  • Manage risk management, ensuring continuity of supply through demand forecasting,transportation capacity management and supplier relationships
  • Lead the business toward best-in-class practices by innovating and championingcontinuous improvement by harnessing internal and external inputs

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Experience setting and executing strategies in supply chain and/or logistics in amatrix organization
  • Extensive understanding and expertise in the fieldsof transportation operations, third-party logistics management,transportation management software and/ortransportation control tower functions
  • Experience in concurrently managing a large number of third-partytransportation suppliers with significant budgets
  • Negotiation and influencing skills, able to communicate and build relationshipseffectively
  • Knowledge of international transportation network design, customer service andcollaboration
  • Experience leading and motivating a high-performance team
  • Financial budget planning, analysis and reporting skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach with a focus on continuous improvement, digitalization andinnovation

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's degree is required

Up to 25%

Work schedule:

Standard Business Hours with emergency coverage on weekends

Salary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $167,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements.
