About This RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and strategicSourcing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, this role will be responsible for managing Parachute's global sourcing across multiple categories, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective supply chain operations. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, designers, merchants, and planners to bring beautiful, functional, and quality made products to market while strengthening vendor partnerships and operational excellence.
Location: Culver City, CA - in office M-TH
What You'll Do
  • Vendor Management
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners that align with Parachute's quality, design, and sustainability standards.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with global vendors to optimize capacity, lead times, and production flexibility.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to balance cost efficiency with product integrity.
  • Seasonal Development
    • Partner with Design / Product Development teams determine vendor allocation to ensure vendors can meet product specifications, compliance standards, and quality benchmarks
    • Drive on-time sample development and production readiness in alignment with seasonal calendars
    • Continually track sample status against milestone calendar
    • Own regulatory testing tracking and reporting for your specific developments
  • Costing
    • Manage product costing, margin analysis, and sourcing strategies to meet business targets
    • Provide visibility into sourcing trends, material costs, and risk factors that may impact profitability
  • Manage packaging requirements with domestic and overseas vendors; including hangtags, cards, ribbon, plastic wrapping/bags, boxes
    • Own label requirements tied to specific certifications
    • Review and approve TOPs
  • Sustainability Certification Management
  • Vendor Compliance and Performance
    • Track assigned vendor certifications (social compliance, quality, etc.,) requesting updated certifications 3+months prior to renewal dates
    • Ensure vendors have up to date Vendor Operations Guides
    • Consolidate feedback from cross-functional partners (Design, Production, Logistics, and Design) to quantify supplier scores; establishing quarterly presentation of all performance metrics
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain within home, apparel, or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong knowledge of global sourcing, textiles, manufacturing processes, and cost negotiation.
  • Proficiency with KPIs and Performance Analytics: Measuring on-time delivery, quality scores, response time, cost competitiveness; Excel / Google: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOK UP, Data Validation
  • Proven track record of managing international vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for sustainability, product quality, and innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position will be $95,000-$110,000. Compensation may vary based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible for additional compensation through bonus or stock options.
