In this job, you will:
  • Work with communicators across the company to engage and inform global audiences as part of our international communication strategy.
  • Develop, implement and measure country-specific communications plans and tactics.
  • Help define strategic recommendations for Northrop Grumman's global communications based on data, analysis and business strategy.
  • Define measurement practices: identify key performance indicators, analyze and produce insights, and make recommendations to improve our process and the results of future communications, events and activities.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships. Serve as a partner and trusted advisor to business partners Serve as a partner and trusted advisor to executive leaders, providing insights, perspective and counsel on communications strategies and issues to internal audiences.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of experience successfully developing and deploying communications strategies OR Master's degree with six (6) years of communications experience.
  • Strong relationship building skills; proven track record of building collaborative partnerships to influence direction and drive progress at every level of the organization.
  • Polished and confident speaker with executive presence and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, strategic communications, marketing, public relations, event planning experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop integrated strategic communications plans, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with global communications or international relations, especially with customers, cultures, and compelling engagements.
  • Familiar with Customer Relations Management tools such as Salesforce.
  • Proficient, or able to learn, Perfect Table Plan, Smartsheet and other event project management tools.
  • Experience leveraging data to create and execute communications strategies, plans, programs and events.
  • Familiarity with social tools, measurement tools, website content management systems, SharePoint, the Adobe Suite of products.
  • Experience with social media channels, audiences and practices.
  • Experience establishing and advancing an organization's brand.
  • Understanding of Associated Press Stylebook writing style.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
