Job description

Purchasing Assistant position in International Trading Company. Candidate must have strong communication and correspondence skills with at least an AA degree. 1 year related experience is required.

  • Location: El Segundo, CA
  • Direct Hire (7 hours/day) Hybrid after 3 months
  • $51K/yr

Requirements of the Purchasing Assistant :

  • At least 1-year related experience
  • BA degree is preferable, however not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Bilingual in Japanese is plus
  • Strong communication
  • Multi-tasking and attention to detail

 

 

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant :

  • Manage the purchasing and receiving process
  • Provide price quotes, take purchase orders, and establish delivery lead times
  • Arrange for expedited delivery
  • Prepare invoicing and shipping documentation for customers
  • Meet with vendors to discuss new products, pricing, delivery schedules, and issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
