Purchasing Assistant position in International Trading Company. Candidate must have strong communication and correspondence skills with at least an AA degree. 1 year related experience is required.

Requirements of the Purchasing Assistant :
- At least 1-year related experience
- BA degree is preferable, however not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Bilingual in Japanese is plus
- Strong communication
- Multi-tasking and attention to detail

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant :
- Manage the purchasing and receiving process
- Provide price quotes, take purchase orders, and establish delivery lead times
- Arrange for expedited delivery
- Prepare invoicing and shipping documentation for customers
- Meet with vendors to discuss new products, pricing, delivery schedules, and issues
- Perform other related duties as assigned
