Do you want to be a part of a company that makes a tangible difference in sustainability, all over the world ? And do you want to do all of this in a scaleup whereyou’ll work hard , have lots of fun , and still can balance your private life with your work life?

Then you might be exactly the personwe’dlike tomeet.

About Fiberflux

Fiberfluxis a one-of-a-kind Belgian scale-up that develops innovative installation systems and pipeline components to deployfiberoptic cables inside drinking water pipelines.

And what makes us even more unique is what happens next.

Using Fiber Optic Sensing technology paired with advanced monitoring software, we transform those opticalfibersinto intelligent sensors that can detect leaks, intrusions, and anomalies in real time byanalyzingacoustic patterns inside and around pipelines.

In other words: the work we do directly contributes to solving one of the world’s biggest sustainability challenges: water conservation .

Our commercial hub is based in the vibrantWintercircusstartup ecosystem in Ghent, while our technical workshop andlogisticsoperations are currentlylocatedin Puurs-Sint-Amands. In 2028, we will be movingall ofour operations to Ghent.

We’re growing internationally, moving fast, and building technology that quite literally does not exist anywhere else.

Our awesome team consistsof 7peopleand we have the ambition to growthe teamwith at least 5 people this year. And with further growth to come.

Andthat’swhere you come in.

We will call you our Project Delivery Engineer ,because basically, youwill own the delivery startingfrom the technical presales track up to the on-site execution. You will become one of the key players in making sure our technology works not only on paper, butalsoout in the field, inside operational and critical water infrastructures across the globe.

You are the bridge between engineering and implementation . The person who sees both the technical big picture and the practical reality on-site. You keep projects moving, align stakeholders, and ensure that installations keep running smoothly That is how you make sure our customers feel confident that they are in expert hands.

What you will get to sink your teeth into

As Project Delivery Engineer, you’llbe involved from the very first technical assessment of a project to the moment an installation is running on-site. One week, you may be working out the feasibility, budgetand execution plan for a new international project. A few weeks later, you could be working side-by-side next to a local partner in Dubai, Rio de Janeiro or anywhere else, making sure everything comes together exactly as it should.

You’lltake ownership of the full project delivery flow:

  • Turn technical opportunities into executable projects.
You assess technical feasibility, define the high-level budget, translate it into a detailedcalculationand build a clear execution plan.
  • Prepare international installations from A to Z.
You coordinate the technical preparations, planning, logistics, materials, customercommunicationand partner alignment before anything happens on-site.
  • Lead the delivery on the ground.
You regularly travel to project sites, in Belgium and abroad, to supervise installations and support local teams. Sometimes that means being away for 2 to 4 weeks at a time , right where the action is.

With theexpertiseyou build up, you will become a trusted advisor for both customers and partners. This will leave you in the unique position toidentifylessons learned and help us improve our technical solutions and processes. You’llget the chance to not only execute projects but also to make a lasting impact on our way of working, the growth and future of Fiberflux.

Whatyou’lllove about working here?
  • A no-nonsense, fun andhard workinginternational engineering environment that gives you the opportunity to make your ideas count and have real impact.
  • A key role in an innovative and growing scale up with a diverse job content (80% project work, 20% new development).
  • The possibility to travel and see the world.
  • Real personal growth possibilities. Either you grow to become our technicalguruor you become our delivery management rockstar, or anything else is negotiable.
  • Full salary package including a car or mobility budget, aprofit sharingbonus, insurances, personal development budget, etc.
  • Flexible working environment with focus on a good life balance (our founders know what it is to work internationally with kids).
