The International Operations Trainer will assist in the development, and facilitation of our Corporate Operations Training Program.This role will train all operational teammates using a blend of live, instructor-led courses with supplemental e-learning content offerings. They will be dedicated to ensuring a positive work environment for all our global teammates which includes providing a memorable onboarding experience complimented with ongoing engaging and innovative learning programs.
  • Facilitate the live, instructor led courses on a consistent and regular schedule each week (approx. 20 hours per week).
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of AIT Operational Processes across all Products.
  • Help to develop the live program curriculum, content, job aids & activities.
  • Constant focus on continuous improvement: researching best practices, learning & development tools & methods, creative interactive activity ideas etc...  Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the Operational Onboarding Training Program through feedback and evaluation to continuously improve learning experience. Suggest adjustments to improve.
  • Act as mentor to participants in each training program, ensuring their success not only during the program but in the days/weeks/months afterwards.
  • Manage and report on virtual trainings in LMS, learning management system, which supplement the live instructor led trainings.
  • This role will assist in assessing, communicating, and coordinating the new hire onboarding experience and provide feedback and suggestions to hiring managers for the continued teammate onboarding and development of their new teammate.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with teammates, subject matter experts and leaders across the organization.
  • Assist training team with other AIT Training Initiatives, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • The wage range for this position is $73,660.00-$110,500.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Education
• High School Diploma (Required) and
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 5+ years International Freight Forwarding experience (Required) 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in CargoWise, CCO Certification or higher preferred Medium

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish
• Experience training new employees a plus High
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with speaking in front of a large group of people High
• Can drive understanding (i.e. using visual aids, able to recognize when a group or individual is lost and needs more attention Medium
• Ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences (with different learning styles) Medium

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
