Worldwide Future Product Marketing Manager

Description -

Worldwide Future Product Marketing Manager

Job Summary

As Worldwide Future Product Marketing Manager, you will define next-generation HP PageWide Industrial printing platforms-accelerating the digital transformation of high-volume print and delivering measurable customer and business value. You will drive product strategy, strengthen value propositions, define requirements, plan beta/early-customer engagements, and lead creation of global go-to-market and launch materials for future platforms and broader system solutions. You will own the future platform roadmap in partnership with customers, channel partners, engineering/R&D, operations, and services-setting priorities, defining requirements, informing pricing strategy, building forecasts and business cases, and aligning stakeholders to deliver on the plan.

Responsibilities

  • Size and segment the market; track trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform platform strategy

  • Provide strategic insight and direction on whole product solutions, ensuring products address end-to-end customer workflows and pain points

  • Own marketing deliverables across the product lifecycle (PLC), ensuring readiness from early concept through release while considering end-of-life requirements

  • Identify, secure, and support beta and early customers; orchestrate global beta engagements through HP sales regions and partners

  • Guide early-funnel qualification and solution fit, aligning customer opportunities with product capabilities and roadmap timing

  • Lead the creation and global rollout of high-impact new product introduction and go-to-market materials

  • Define and evolve the whole product solutions roadmap over time, including platform sequencing, options, and services

  • Build and maintain forecasts for placements, usage, and revenue; partner to shape pricing strategy and profitability targets

  • Develop competitive positioning and win/loss insights; translate competitor moves into differentiated messaging and roadmap implications

  • Represent the business at tradeshows, open houses, and customer demos-delivering clear, executive-ready narratives that connect technical value to business outcomes

  • Define and execute a customer insight plan (VOC), synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs into prioritized requirements

  • Lead market, technology, and product research to validate strategy, support investment decisions, and reduce execution risk

  • Enable and align HP regions and channel partners with strategy, positioning, and launch readiness to drive adoption and growth

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product management, including 3-5+ years in future product planning, platform strategy, or similarly strategic roles; worldwide/international market experience strongly desired

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strategic and tactical thinker with an execution bias; able to navigate ambiguity, set direction, and drive outcomes through influence

  • Proven ability to identify profitable market opportunities and craft differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging

  • Proven cross-functional leadership with strong executive presence, communication, and presentation skills (able to distill technical detail for senior stakeholders)

  • Demonstrated ability to track and respond to competitor strategies to drive differentiation

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels-from engineers to C-suite stakeholders-building consensus and resolving conflict

  • Exceptional analytical and business planning skills, including market sizing, pricing/packaging inputs, TCO/TCOP models, business cases, and NPV/ROI analysis

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior customer executives; comfort presenting to external stakeholders such as partners and industry forums

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making

  • Deep knowledge of commercial/industrial printing technologies, workflows, and market trends

  • Experience in publishing and/or commercial printing markets, including competitive analysis and positioning across the industry ecosystem

  • Business development and partner engagement experience is a plus

The pay range for this role is $125,050 to $170,000 USD annually with additional
