Baker Tilly, one of the fastest growing CPA advisory firms in the nation, has an incredible career opportunity for an International Tax Associate to join our growing International Tax practice in our (CITY) office!
Our International Tax practice is comprised of a borderless team of professionals across the U.S, as well as team members from over 140 Baker Tilly International member firms from around the globe. This talented team addresses pressing issues for our global clients and assists with advising on U.S.-based and local country matters including; international tax compliance, planning and structuring, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing and supply chain planning, international high net worth and global mobility.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of international tax services including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax credit, international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, outbound and inbound structure planning and cross-border transactions
  • Work on multiple international tax engagements and contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning and consulting projects for our diverse clients
  • Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
  • Collaborate and build relationships with Baker Tilly member firms around the world
  • Help provide technical guidance to tax professionals firm wide
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients

Qualifications


Successful candidates will have:

  • Four-year degree, license eligible required
  • 1 year of International Tax experienced required
  • GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
  • Interest in pursuing CPA,MST or JD/LLM preferred
  • An eagerness to work on a variety of International tax projects
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred

The pay rate range for this job position is $99,590 to $130,710. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
