We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

As the Director of International Marketing, you will be a member of the Segment Marketing leadership team and will define and execute the vision, strategy, and operating model for Schwab's International segment. This role reports to the Managing Director, Segment Marketing.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the International Business, helping shape growth strategies, simplify complex market and regulatory considerations, and recommend clear paths forward that support both client and business outcomes.

A key responsibility of this role is advancing International Marketing capabilities toward parity with Domestic Marketing while advocating for the unique needs of international clients and markets. You will identify opportunities to leverage enterprise capabilities, platforms, processes, and best practices while ensuring international audiences receive the specialized focus, experiences, and solutions required to achieve business objectives. You are highly audience-centric and possess a strong understanding of international investor needs, market dynamics, and the complexities associated with marketing across global markets. You excel at simplifying complex business and regulatory considerations into clear recommendations and actionable plans.

You consistently develop a deep understanding of client motivations, behaviors, and needs. You regularly synthesize audience insights, competitive intelligence, market trends, and performance data and effectively share those insights across Marketing and business teams to inform broader marketing strategies and business decisions.

You establish a high bar for creativity, innovation, and client experience. You challenge teams to think differently, test new approaches, and continuously raise the quality and effectiveness of marketing programs.

You bring strong operational discipline to your work. You leverage measurement, analysis, testing, and optimization to continuously improve marketing performance and business outcomes. You actively seek opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and scale International Marketing capabilities by leveraging enterprise tools, platforms, processes, and domestic marketing best practices.

You work particularly closely with the International Business and establish collaborative, productive working relationships across Segment Marketing, Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Digital, Creative, Insights, Analytics, Retail, Service, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.

You are also an outstanding people leader. You recognize that the International Marketing team has built a strong culture and consistently high engagement, and you are committed to maintaining and strengthening that foundation.
