A distinguished ultra-high-net-worth family seeks an accomplished Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations of a sophisticated residential portfolio throughout New York and seasonal properties. This executive-level position serves as the Principal's trusted advisor, ensuring every aspect of the family's residences, staff, travel, projects, and lifestyle is executed with absolute precision.

The successful candidate is an exceptional leader with experience managing complex private estates, high-performing household teams, luxury vendors, and significant capital projects while maintaining the utmost discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all operations across multiple private residences.

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage household staff, department heads, and outside service providers.

  • Develop household standards, operational procedures, and service protocols.

  • Manage annual operating budgets, capital improvements, and household expenditures.

  • Coordinate renovations, construction projects, and preventative maintenance.

  • Supervise security systems, residential technology, and risk management initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Principal, family office, legal counsel, accountants, architects, and property managers.

  • Oversee domestic and international travel logistics and seasonal property transitions.

  • Ensure residences are maintained to impeccable luxury hospitality standards at all times.

  • Anticipate the Principal's needs while managing competing priorities with complete confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years managing private estates for UHNW families.

  • Previous experience as an Estate Manager, Chief of Staff, or Director of Residences.

  • Proven leadership overseeing large household teams.

  • Exceptional financial management and project management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of luxury residential systems and property operations.

  • Ability to travel extensively.

  • Highly organized, discreet, polished, and solutions-oriented.
