We are looking for a Manager, International Tax Services to join the International Tax Services (ITS) team.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
  • US tax return review for both inbound and outbound corporations.
  • Advises individuals, partnerships, and corporations with respect to cross-border transactions and works closely with their respective global advisors on tax planning decisions.
  • Research and drafts memoranda on various international tax matters, including income tax treaty planning, Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act and covered asset acquisition.
  • Reviews complex quantitative analyses, models and projections.
  • Interacts and coordinates with managers, directors, partners, and clients to ensure timeliness and effective communication on an engagement.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize, manage others, and meet deadlines.
  • Exhibits exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.

The ideal candidate must:
  • Have 5+ years of international corporate, partnership and individual taxation; overall 7+ years in public accounting or law firm.
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA or member of state Bar; master's in taxation, JD, and/or LL.M (with a concentration in tax) preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of a broad range of international tax law provisions.
  • Develop and train new and experienced staff.
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgement.
  • Be responsive to clients.
  • Possess strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Be proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert in tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect).
