Job description

The Manager, International Business Development, is responsible for supporting our Client relationships with our international partner operated customers.
This role will support the development and delivery of training to facilitate connections between our external partners and internal teams. This role will also ensure compliance with internal store opening and closing processes by following up with our internal partners to ensure we deliver an Experience First approach to all our partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate collaboration between external partners and internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop presentations to communicate international business updates across the organization.
  • Establish and maintain critical path timelines in coordination with internal partners.
  • Conduct follow-up with internal partners to ensure timely execution of critical path activities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to establish efficient processes.
  • Ensure external partners and franchisees are informed of internal operational updates.
  • Business Development Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate initial applications and track requests.
    • Organize and oversee introductory meetings with new partners.
    • Assess partner performance and maintain communication with partners.
    • Ensure adherence to critical path timelines with external partners.
    • Implement brand policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate operational updates with partners.
  • Liaise with external clients to coordinate first-time experiences and international visits.
  • Analyze results and follow up with international partners accordingly.
  • Implement Brand and Experience-First training initiatives.
  • Conduct monthly reviews to identify areas for brand protection enhancement and promotional opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of international markets, cultural nuances, and business practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid passport

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • 5-7 years proven track record of successful international business development in the retail industry.
