Business Development Manager – Contract Manufacturing Position Summary

E-BI International is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and grow strategic customer relationships throughout North America. This position is responsible for acquiring new customers, expanding existing customer relationships, increasing wallet share, and developing long-term manufacturing partnerships.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven business development professional with experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, engineering-related products, supply chain solutions, or complex B2B sales environments. Success in this role is measured by new customer acquisition, revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic account development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within target industries including industrial equipment, electronics, consumer products, transportation, medical, aerospace, and other manufacturing sectors.
  • Generate new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, LinkedIn, phone outreach, and strategic business development activities.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs, manufacturing challenges, supply chain risks, quality requirements, and growth objectives.
  • Present E-BI International’s manufacturing capabilities including product development support, sourcing, quality assurance, supply chain management, production, and global manufacturing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers including engineering, sourcing, purchasing, operations, supply chain, and executive leadership.
  • Expand wallet share within existing customer accounts by identifying new projects, divisions, products, and manufacturing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, quality, and operations teams to develop customer solutions and support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and forecast information within HubSpot CRM.
  • Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and business development updates.
  • Represent E-BI International at customer locations, industry events, trade shows, and strategic meetings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial sales, business development, account management, supply chain, or related fields will be considered.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission.
