Summary:
The Accounting Intern will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Help prepare invoice and expense reports
  • Analyze financial data
  • Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy

Qualifications:
  • Active enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
  • A willingness to learn
  • Detail-oriented
  • Analytical skills

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time
  • Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments
  • This position is 32 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, from mid-June to mid-August
