What's waiting for you as a Inventory Operations Intern? Inventory Operations Interns assist with the receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials while keeping accurate records of all inventory transactions on a daily basis. With keeping a safe and efficient workplace as first priority, Inventory Operations Interns maintain and monitor accurate inventory levels through inventory management and internal controls.
Inventory Operations Interns have the opportunity to interact with different departments across the Cooperative through completing and delivering orders to the correct parties in a timely manner. By keeping a safe, organized, and efficient workplace as first priority, Inventory Operations Interns maintain, monitor, and record accurate inventory levels through inventory management and internal controls. Inventory Operations Interns assist in other areas of the Financial Operations Department as needed to meet the overall objectives of the department.
For this role, you also must have:
Currently pursuing a two or four year degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field of study and/or two year related Customer Serivce preferred.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift more than 50 pounds
Ability to perform moderate physical activity associated with routine duties of Supply department.
Knowledgeable working experience with MS products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
