Inventory Compliance Specialist

We currently operate 1,300+ brick and mortar locations, including specialty concept stores for the NBA, NHL, Paris Saint-Germain, and the two largest MLB franchises, via our Yankees & Dodgers Clubhouse stores. General Position Summary
The Inventory Compliance Specialist supports the accuracy and integrity of company inventory records by reviewing transactions, analyzing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures. This role collaborates cross-functionally across supply chain, merchandising, store operations, and accounting teams to investigate issues, maintain synchronization of inventory systems, and help implement process improvements that strengthen inventory controls.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support company initiatives to maintain accurate and compliant inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies across supply chain, merchandising, store operations, and distribution centers.
  • Assist in maintaining synchronization between warehouse management and inventory management systems.
  • Monitor inventory adjustments and analyze trends to identify potential control gaps or process issues.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and other departments to resolve invoice and transaction discrepancies.
  • Perform analysis to identify root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records supporting inventory compliance activities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support adherence to company inventory policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience or related education preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a computer and relevant software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze discrepancies and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and performance standards.
