We are looking for a motivated Security Engineer Intern to assist in managing and maintaining our Security and IT infrastructure. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a broad spectrum of Information Security domains as you work to expand your skills and experience.
This role is on-site, based in our Toronto, ON office.
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience through coursework, projects, or internships in areas such as malware analysis, incident response, IDS/IPS, security engineering, or IT help desk.
- Understanding of IT fundamentals, including systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Passionate about cybersecurity with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
What We Need
- Support a variety of cybersecurity projects while maintaining flexibility, adaptability, and confidentiality.
- Assist with building and improving Tenstorrent's security infrastructure across vulnerability management, application security, cloud/SaaS security, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
- Contribute to security operations, documentation, and process improvements.
