Job description

NextGen RF Design is seeking a motivated individual interested in learning and contributing to hardware product development at a fast paced, highly innovative engineering services company.
The RF Engineer will assist in the development of wireless products including developing requirements, circuit design, simulation, test plan development and execution, and documentation. The RF Engineer will also work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, embedded systems, and project management to ensure the end product meets all specifications inclusively.
Responsibilities:
  • Designing and analyzing RF systems, including antennas, transmission lines, and microwave circuits.
  • Assist in PCBA design concepts
  • Configuring and utilize RF test equipment
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance at the system and component level.
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as embedded and mechanical engineers, to ensure that RF systems are integrated and aligned with overall product goals.
  • Providing technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in RF technology, and incorporating these into the design and operation of RF systems.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of radio frequency theory and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with RF equipment and systems, such as antennas, transmission lines, and microwave circuits.
  • Ability to design, analyze, and optimize RF systems for optimal performance.

Qualifications:
