BASIC SUMMARY:
The Business Development Intern will be responsible for researching and qualifying potential leads for the Business Development team and generate summarized reports of their key findings. This individual will be an enthusiastic team player able to understand PharPoint's value proposition and the potential clients that would benefit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Build a funnel of prequalified leads for PharPoint's Business Development team to further develop.
โ€ข Support lead management follow-up and account management activities.
โ€ข Provide KPI reporting and updates on all activity, including status reports on a weekly basis.
โ€ข Manage and build various lists and campaigns as needed.
โ€ข Perform data mining and data hygiene tasks in Salesforce.
โ€ข Participate in sales calls as assigned.
โ€ข Perform all other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Education: High School diploma and pursuing a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Life Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
โ€ข Experience: Familiarity with CRM Salesforce.com preferred.
โ€ข Certification/Licensure: None.
โ€ข Other:
o A strong commitment to quality and precision.
o Ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements.
o Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
o Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application; Salesforce experience a plus.
o Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
o Ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines and demands.
o Goal oriented, self-motivated, and results driven individual.
o Ability to work a minimum 15-20 hours per week during regular business hours.
o Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required.
