Interior Designer / Project Manager – Luxury Residential Design

Location: Boston, MA | Type: Full-Time | Work Style: In-Person

Luxury residential interior design firm in Boston seeks an Interior Designer / Project Manager. Candidate will be responsible for managing residential projects from concept through installation while supporting all phases of the design process. The ideal candidate will have strong design, communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities will include managing residential interior design projects; assisting in the development of design concepts, furniture, lighting, color palettes, and material selections; preparing construction and design drawing sets; creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, proposals, and purchase orders; coordinating with contractors and vendors; managing procurement, order tracking, and installation schedules; and overseeing project installations and construction administration.

Job Requirements

Qualifications must include a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and 3–5 years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design. Technical skills should include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Design Manager, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, a refined design aesthetic, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
