The role involves utilizing advanced design software to create and modify complex 3D models and 2D drawings for various interior components, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Utilize CATIA V5/V6 to create and modify complex 3D models and 2D drawings for interior components (e.g., instrument panels, door trim, consoles, or overhead systems).
  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all designs align with engineering standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing feasibility requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and external vendors, to resolve design conflicts and optimize parts.
  • Data Management: Manage design data within the PLM system, ensuring accuracy and version control throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design change notices as required by the project scope.

Qualifications

  • Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in CATIA is mandatory.
  • Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in Automotive Interior design and engineering.
