What you'll do
  • Strategic, Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling written and multimedia content that reflects Weir's mission, values, and priorities. You will be responsible for end-to-end communication programs, blending high-level strategy with hands-on execution to deliver sharp, visual storytelling.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global and divisional teams including HR, sales, operations, supply chain, engineering, and executive leadership. Influence outcomes through strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Project Leadership: Architect and manage communication strategies, write content, and design visuals. You will lead projects that balance immediate deliverables with longer-term strategic goals.
  • Strategy and Continuous Improvement: Develop innovative recommendations and design processes to enhance communication effectiveness beyond current practices.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize and manage digital marketing and communication tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, email marketing software, and interactive content displays.
  • Community and Public Relations: Act as a thought partner to maximize thought leadership, media presence, and community engagement.
  • Daily Role: You will spend your days writing, designing, planning, and delivering strategic communication priorities, often managing multiple tasks fluidly.

What you'll bring
Must-haves:
  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications including internal and external communications.
