Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst, or Scrum Master is responsible for championing and driving the Scrum/Agile processes to increase team efficiency by motivating and facilitating the scrum team to self-organization, higher quality, team ownership and driving the team to meet their deliverables. The role of Specialist Scrum Master is a developing professional with working knowledge of Agile and project management practices. Supports the team in managing projects and processes to help meet operational goals and contribute to business or functional results.
Essential Functions:
  • Strong understanding of agile values and principles and can guide and coach teams, and the organization.
  • Guiding and coaching delivery teams to self-organize and achieve objectives, without assigning or dictating the work
  • Mobilizing new teams to agile practices and values
  • Working effectively with management and team members to clarify needs and plan delivery of major product changes, future versions and new products
  • Working to proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, ensuring that they are identified, coordinated, mitigated or escalated as necessary
  • Working with the Product Owner and Development Team to facilitate effective sprints by removing impediments and ensuring that stories are 'sprint ready'
  • Demonstrating servant-leadership while guiding the team to improve their processes all while challenging them to innovate and experiment

Facilitate Agile Scrum stand-up meetings, retrospectives, sprints, release planning and delivery of artifacts for the Scrum process for multiple teams
Develop and report process metrics for real-time or historical presentations
Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years minimum prior related experience as a practicing Scrum Master in a technology and/or software development environment, or equivalent of education and related experience
  • 3 years minimum prior related experience in agile methodologies, values, and procedures
  • 3 years minimum prior related experience with agile PLM tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Digital.ai Agility (or other)
  • 3 years minimum prior related experience backlog tracking, Scrum and Kanban based metrics, task definition, and story splitting

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Education, or Graduate Degree with minimum of 3 years of prior related experience as a practicing Scrum Master
  • Proven leadership skills that motivate scrum teams to perform at their best
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certifications
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and strong reasoning skills as well as good analytical and problem-solving abilities
