Full Job Description


The Command Integration Lead (CIL) directly supports the US Government to develop joint operational and functional capabilities in the information environment. In this role, the CIL provides the Joint Force with an AI/ML enabled, scalable enterprise, Command and Control (C2), situational awareness, and data analytics capability to support Globally Integrated Operations (GIO) Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and information and decision advantage. In addition, the CIL will function as a key contributor to high-tempo operations and will provide on-site technical expertise, assistance, and training to the Commands they support as well as serves as a direct conduit between the Government PMO and COCOM.


Responsibilities



  • Responsible for integration into the command processes as needed, but not limited to, Battle Rhythm events integration, documentation and facilitating Government PMO engagements.

  • Serves as a "first responder" for issues regarding access or functionality by users within the Command

  • Provides feedback to the Government PMO in the form of documented deficiencies, anomalies, and shares best practices to ensure the positive contribution and continuous evolution of technologies in support of Globally Integrated Operations.

  • Supports on-site and virtual training, training programs, development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and SOPs within the Command.

  • Enhances COCOM's situational awareness through the assimilation of data as well as the integration of visualization technologies into the COCOM Common Operating Picture (COP)

  • Demonstrates geopolitical knowledge of assigned theater

  • Demonstrates an understanding of relevant technologies as well as broad command and control principles

  • Ability to build and maintain technical documentation and high-level enterprise architectures

  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC Edge and the Government contracting team


Required Education and Experience


High school diploma or equivalent


Minimum of 8 years' experience with a DoD Combatant Command or theater Service Component Command.


Direct and hands-on experience interacting with the Government PMO or with integrating relevant technologies into DoD operations within COCOM.


Must possess technical and expert level understanding of the operational environment as it relates to relevant technologies (AI/ML, C2, Situational Awareness, and data analytics).


Direct recent experience working JADC2 or CJADC2


Ability to understand, explain, and train others on complex technologies (e.g., distributed C2, cybersecurity, data flow, inform and influence operations, etc.) within the context of Joint Force campaigning.


Complete tasks within the assigned timeline/deadline


Ability to work and accomplish tasks with minimal guidance


Exceptional oral and written communications skills


Ability to clearly communicate to team members and Government officials at all levels


Exceptional presentation skill set


Must have and maintain a Top Secret/ SCI personnel clearance


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree is desirable

  • Prior US Military experience

  • Former Officer or NCO in the US Military is preferred

  • 5 or more years of COCOM operational (Action Officer) experience
