What You’ll Do
• Install, configure, and commission IP-based video surveillance and access control systems
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, programming, and system optimization
• Support end-user training and ensure seamless system handoff
• Read and execute from project drawings, submittals, and BOMs
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and customer IT/security stakeholders
• Travel locally to customer sites throughout Eastern Iowa
What You Bring
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with video surveillance and access control systems
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals:
○ IP addressing
○ VLANs
○ PoE
○ Basic switch configuration
• Experience with platforms such as:
○ Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon
○ Brivo, AMAG, Acre, Motorola
○ (or similar enterprise security systems)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable in customer-facing environments
