Job Summary:
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application and data integrations across systems, APIs, and services. This role collaborates with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, build scalable solutions, and support integration troubleshooting
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations and components, including but not limited to, application to application integrations, services, internal and external API, file transfer, and SQL queries.
  • Fully participate in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of same for the application-application integrations.
  • Troubleshoot existing integrations and provide technical support to the other various IT teams to ensure correct interactions with new and existing software.
  • Coordinate directly with business users, business analysts and project teams to best understand and analyze business specifications
  • Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with best practices
  • Work to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations using third party tools, or built-in integration platforms or API's
  • Develop and maintain services used in application integrations
  • Develop and maintain data integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components.
  • Write SQL code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements
  • Build reports and/or data extracts to support business analysis
  • Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions
  • Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors

  • In depth knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL or other RDBM languages
  • Familiarity with database tools such as SQL Developer; Integration Architecture, and best practices
  • Strong familiarity with 3rd party software integration practices and tools such as Mulesoft or Jitterbit

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of experience in working with integration platforms
  • Prior experience working with ERP, HCM or EPM software
  • Demonstrated experience in XML, and experience with Java or .Net.
  • Experience in structured release & deployment best practices
  • Demonstrated development experience all levels of testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP, as well as experience writing fault-tolerant code

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning and AI
  • Experience with Palantir
  • Workday Pro certification(s) (Integrations, Reporting, Extend, Adaptive Planning etc.)
