Activities Aide

As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic activities to our residents, promoting their physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

Job Summary

The Activities Aide provides individualized activities to residents, designed to meet their interests and improve their overall well-being. You will create programs that assist residents in maintaining lifelong interests and self-esteem, while promoting physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and be part of our dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic activities to residents, such as recreational games, arts and crafts, and social events

  • Develop and implement individualized activity programs that meet the unique needs and interests of each resident

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan

  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity programs

  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents
