Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic services, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conducting both individual and family counseling sessions that foster open communication and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Teaching clients practical mental health skills, such as stress reduction techniques, problem-solving strategies, and psychoeducation that empower them to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Documenting all therapy sessions and client interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participating in agency trainings and monthly supervision meetings to enhance your professional skills and stay aligned with best practice standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families from various walks of life. Your work will focus on helping clients navigate complex emotional and psychological issues, including relationship challenges, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Clients may include children, adolescents, adults, and couples, each presenting unique therapy needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
  • Strong communication skills, ensuring clear and empathetic interactions with clients and team members.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to legal standards within the realm of mental health care.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and methodologies.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical or outpatient practice setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in diverse environments and with varied demographics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling best practices is advantageous, given our remote work setting.
