Thompson Law, a nationally growing personal injury firm based in Dallas, seeks an Intake Paralegal to join our team! 
About the job: 
This is a fast-paced position responsible for handling a significant volume of in-bound and in-person inquiries from Potential New clients (PNCs). The intake Specialist plays a critical role in client experience and case intake accuracy. You are expected to handle emotionally charged situations with composure, respond to calls efficiently and accurately, and collaborate closely with attorneys, investigators, and paralegals in a fast-moving environment.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and walk-in inquiries 
  • Conduct intake interviews and accurately document case details 
  • Explain the firm’s process and expectations to potential clients 
  • Secure signed representation agreements from qualified prospects 
  • Identify issues, escalate concerns, and collaborate with attorneys and staff 
  • Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with intake procedures 
  • Handle emotionally distressed callers and complete related administrative tasks

Qualifications: 

  • REQUIRED: Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 2-4 years of law firm experience
  • 1 year of direct Intake Specialist experience (Personal Injury experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure, high-volume intake environment
  • Comfortable in sales-oriented conversations and closing
  • Strong computer proficiency; ability to learn and navigate case management systems quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and investigators.
