Job description

Litigation Paralegal

Fast paced law firm in downtown Tampa is looking for one EXPERIENCED Paralegal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a 4 year bachelor's degree.
  • Must be an above average typist and be able to transcribe FAST oral dictation under pressure.
  • Must be able to compose pleadings, basic motions and discovery documents.
  • Must be at an expert level in Word and consistently use shortcut keys.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bankruptcy, Creditors Rights, Complex Litigation, CM/ECF, e-filing and or trial/hearing preparation is a plus!
  • Must have experience with Outlook calendaring.
  • Must be detail oriented, have a great vocabulary, experienced proofreader, and work well under extreme pressure.
  • Overtime will be necessary and some Sundays required.
  • Must comprehend professional office etiquette.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Must be professional in appearance and attire.
