Description
Mental Health organization seeking a full time Intake Specialist to work within our Intake Department. Duties include: managing referral calls; conducting intake with clients; entering information into Electronic Medical Record; and tracking referrals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred. Position is not intended for licensed clinicians.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age, able to read and write, understand and follow directions and shall at minimum meet the requirements of an Associate Professional according to 10A NCAC 27G .0104.
In addition, the Intake Specialist must have experience working within the human service field. The Intake Specialist is responsible for monitoring all referrals coming into the agency and linking them with the appropriate service/provider. The Intake Specialist shall report to the Executive Director of Quality and Outcomes or Designee.
