Shift differentials ($$) are available for weekday overnights and weekend days/overnights!
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Assessment Clerk to join our team.
As an Intake Assessment Clerk, you will be crucial in receiving, scheduling, and referring incoming patients and inquiry calls. You will work closely with our Intake Counselors, Clerks, and Director to coordinate assessments, initiate vital signs, safety checks, and provide care and comfort to patients during the admission process. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Admission Coordinators to ensure a smooth transition for patients into the hospital.

  • Receive and manage referral calls, directing them to the appropriate source of scheduling an assessment
  • Maintain call logs and dispositions
  • Assist with intake paperwork for walk-ins and arrange for patient admissions
  • Process all requests for information and external referrals
  • Assist with obtaining records and compiling charts
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with patients
  • Maintains strong communications with various departments and staff

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: (2) years of experience working in a hospital unit or intake department preferred
