What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with the Product Liability underwriting team to rate, quote, and issue binders using internal systems
  • Prepare and issue policies in accordance with underwriting and operational guidelines
  • Process midterm policy endorsements efficiently and accurately
  • Communicate with brokers to gather required documentation and follow up on outstanding items
  • Support claims by setting up new files, sending notices, and providing administrative assistance
  • Assist finance during month-end close, including premium follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational excellence
Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience as an Underwriting Assistant, ideally in General Liability (preferred)
  • Familiarity with underwriting processes, terminology, and rating practices
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe; experience with underwriting systems a plus
