Job description

AWA Insurance, located in Fort Myers and Pt Charlotte, FL, has an immediate opening for a full-time, Insurance sales position. We are looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team.


If you have a talent for insurance sales and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Sales Representative, you’ll work to inspire customer loyalty and help provide solutions to a needs-based product.


This is not a remote position. Please only apply if you are able to make the commute to our Fort Myers or Pt. Charlotte office location.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answer phones and greet clients.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service and quotes. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements

  • Customer Service or insurance sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Property Casualty license, 4-40 or 2-20 (must be able to obtain prior to start date)
