Health Insurance Sales Manager | Supplemental Health

This role is for proven health insurance producers and current sales leaders who are ready to move beyond individual production and into a position where they can develop people, drive performance, and help build a successful sales organization.


Your leadership and sales experience are the foundation. We provide the agents, products, systems, support, and technology to help you build production, strengthen the team, and grow your career.


WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

  • Complete an initial hands‑on production period to learn ShieldStone's products, systems, and sales process.

  • Coach agents on needs discovery, product presentation, lead conversion, objection handling, and closing.

  • Monitor call quality, conversion, policy effectuation, persistency, production, and overall team performance.

  • Provide real‑time coaching, feedback, accountability, and support throughout the sales day.

  • Lead agent onboarding, ongoing development, and performance improvement.

  • Help strengthen team standards, sales processes, and agent consistency.

  • Work alongside company leadership to support recruiting, production, and long‑term team growth.


WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE

  • High‑volume inbound sales environment with qualified leads.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Active Health Insurance Producer License required (Florida 2-40 or 2-15)

  • At least two years of health insurance sales experience preferred.

  • Proven success in phone‑based sales, lead conversion, objection handling, and closing.

  • Strong understanding of coaching, call quality, accountability, and sales performance.

  • Ability to motivate, coach, and communicate effectively with different personalities.

  • Consistent, process‑driven leader in a high‑volume sales environment.

  • Previous management or training experience is helpful but not required.

  • Medicare, ACA, supplemental health, hospital indemnity, or similar product experience preferred.


COMPENSATION AND GROWTH

  • Annual earning potential of $75,000 to $110,000.

  • Initial onboarding includes a hands‑on production period, typically two to four weeks, to learn the products, systems, and sales process.

  • Following onboarding, starting weekly management compensation of $1,300 plus 2% of company‑wide monthly premium production.

  • Additional earning opportunities as production, leadership responsibilities, and company growth expand.

  • Earnings vary based on company production and role growth.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • In‑office leadership role based in Boca Raton, Florida.
