Job Summary
Troy University Regional Recruiters are an essential element of the University's Enrollment Management team. This role will be tasked with supporting Troy Campus traditional freshman and transfer student recruitment efforts in a defined geographic region by implementing recruiting strategies and activities that grow the number of students applying to TROY, being admitted to TROY, and ultimately choosing TROY for enrollment. Duties will include constant contact to prospective students and their families as well as establishing positive relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other sources of potential enrollments. Regional recruiters reside in their assigned geographic areas, but will travel to Troy Campus several times a year for training and professional development activities. (All official travel is covered for reimbursement.)
PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the assigned geographic territory.
Minimum Qualifications
1. One year of recruiting and/or sales experience. 2. Bachelor Degree required from a regionally accredited college or university. 3. Must have transportation and current driver's license. 4. Candidate must be able to meet and maintain commercial auto insurance eligibility requirements. 5. Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree preferred.
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
Driving is a primary responsibility
Work Hours
Extensive travel is required, some of which is overnight travel. Weekends and Evening work will also be required.
List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position
Carrying materials that could weigh more than 15 lbs. to special events, along with setting up tables, chairs and tents for events and fairs.
