Towne Insurance is hiring a receptionist and administrative assistant for our downtown Norfolk headquarters. The receptionist/administrative assistant welcomes all visiting clients and guests, answers the switchboard and forwards incoming calls to the correct person, distributes incoming faxes, distributes other correspondence received electronically and pull policies, etc. from company websites and distribute to correct person.

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $38,000 to $45,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.

  • Distribute all incoming faxes and other electronic documents.
  • Pull policies from company websites and distribute to the correct person.
  • Help open mail.
  • Optical Processor (scanning).
  • Keep receptionist area neat.
  • Keep conference rooms neat.
  • Receive all deliveries.
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.
