We're looking for a fresh and friendly face to join our management team in Portland, ME!The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in all aspects of café operations in one location, focusing on sales growth, customer service and team building. They connect with both customers and staff and have a hands-on role in building our community-conscious café. They report to the General Manager, and oversee Shift Leaders, as well as all store personnel.
Position Type : Full-time
Duties Include:
  • Recruit and hire talented individuals to fulfill staffing needs
  • Train, mentor, and motivate shift leaders and other personnel
  • Assist the General Manager in ways that will help build the cafés profits, strengthen the company culture, improve customer service, food quality, and team members' morale
  • Assist the General Manager with office and administrative tasks
