Storage Point Delivery Manager - Supply Maintenance Delivery

Location - Essex & Suffolk & surrounding area

Hours: Full-time, with flexibility for part time working

Salary: circa ยฃ65,000 & car allowance

About the Role

Ready to help lead a programme that keeps the nation's supply network resilient and future-ready?

We're looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager to take charge, in part, of the Storage Point Inspection and Refurbishment Programme within Supply Maintenance Delivery (SMD). This is your opportunity to make a real impact-driving safety, efficiency, and excellence across a critical infrastructure programme.

Reporting into the Regional Storage Points Manager, you'll lead one of four inspection and delivery teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing stakeholder relationships to keep projects on track and on budget. Your leadership will shape programme governance and workforce development, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Compliance & Safety

* Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all projects.

* Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and industry best practices.

2. Stakeholder Management

* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Communicate effectively to maintain engagement and transparency throughout the programme.

3. Programme Management & Governance

* Oversee programme delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

* Maintain robust governance, reporting, and risk management processes.

4. People Development & Performance

* Lead and develop high-performing delivery and construction teams.

* Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and best practice adoption.

About You-

* Proven leadership ability, capable of driving high-performance teams.

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, ensuring engagement across multiple functions.

* Experience in CDM compliance, project delivery, and regulatory environments.

* Track record of capital scheme delivery within the utilities sector.

* A good understanding of the Water Supply Process and associated POSWSH Procedures.

* Ability to challenge performance, drive efficiency improvements, and implement best practices.

* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
